Karl Tameron lives in the apartment without a roommate, though Fred hangs out with him frequently since he is the only one who can understand her. He is a fairly big nerd, often on the computer and is enrolled in online courses. He can repair almost anything computer related. As the chosen "Gate Keeper" he uses the control pad to run the alternative dimension portal in his cupboard. The couch in his apartment can also turn into a giant robot under his command, and lately when he's performing such tasks he gets really glowy. However he has a bad habit of overeating and a problem keeping his weight under control. Karl is openly in love with Sal, who is unsure of her own feelings. Though once bitter and jealous of Jason he has since formed a close relationship with him, but he often gets into fights with Bob.
